SURROGATES footage looks an alternate-reality TERMINATOR film! by COOP

What if we had our own personal terminator that took our place out there in the real world while we controlled it from the comfort and safety of our own home? Enter the world of “Surrogates” from “Terminator 3″ director Jonathan Mostow. Bruce “increasingly ridiculous toupees” Willis and Rahda “never did escape from Silent Hill” Mitchell play FBI agents who through the use of their surrogates investigate the murder of a human linked to the inventor of the robot bodies. When humans start dropping dead at home, they discover that there’s something seriously wrong with the Surrogate system and must race to discover the mystery before they are forced to **GASP** go outside.

Sounds like a sci-fi thriller in the tradition of “The Outer Limits.” A sci-fi moral conundrum that will leave you haunted after the experience… or at the very least it’ll send you into geek fits watching Terminator Willis kick butt. I’m told this was a either a comic book or graphic novel. I’m feeling particularly lazy today to find out for myself, but hey… it seems like everything that’s not a remake is based on a comic book these days. Whatever the case, Mostow just can’t leave humanoid-looking robots alone. The footage below looks spectacular and I can’t wait to see more.

Looks interesting…I told you about my friends concern with accuracy of the sets matching the comic book feel. I haven’t read it though, so I could only take that aspect at face value…what I see on the screen, man. Bruce kicking ass though…could be good!
