Who Sandy Collora is and why you should care… by COOP

If you haven’t heard of “Batman: Dead End,” you’ve missed out on something. A few years ago (before “Batman Begins”) this Sandy Collora guy got a camera and a few people together and made this…

Pretty damn impressive, no? The guy’s made a career of creating creatures, designing, storyboarding and whatnot. Looks like he’s got some vision as a director/auteur as well.

Now Sandy’s back with something new. Check out the trailer for his first feature film “Hunter Prey.” Not sure what’s going on it it but it looks pretty for a low budget sci-fi film. Let’s hope he lives up to the hype. Go to i09 to see the trailer.

He’s also brewing up an adaptation (probably a short) of the Superman/Batman crossover comic “World’s Finest.” Go here to take a look at what he’s doing on that.

I like his Batman shorts, but I’m not sure about this. It looks still too amateurish for a feature. It even has the Predator’s vocal pattern. I hope I’m wrong about it because the guy seems very cool and creative. He needs some more imput I think. I wonder if this will attract or repel potential contributors. Interesting.

I’m actually more interested in his “Worlds Finest” adaptation now. I wonder how he’s gonna do that with almost no budget.
