WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE trailer fills me with confidence! sez DARK SIDE
Been wondering when they were going to make this one since I was a tiny little ankle-biter. One of my favorite illustrated books as a kid will finally come to life after years of re-cuts and studio manipulation. Coming from “Being John Malkovich’s” director Spike Jones, I knew I was in for something raw and experimental, but just look at this thing. It feels a lot like “Time Bandits” or something else from Terry Gilliam.
Who cares if the powers that be felt it wasn’t ready to be released two years ago. I want to see it ASAP. Looks amazing. Far better than I ever would’ve imagined.
I got sent to bed without supper.

I am as excited about Where the Wild Things Are as you are . I did not know of the book as a kid – but the film seems very promising.
