“TAKEN” SEQUEL!!! COOP says: “I told you so!” **UPDATE**

I knew it! The character of Brian Mills (played by Liam Neeson) from the movie “Taken” (read my review here) was so cool, I predicted they were going to bring him back for another film.

Slashfilm reports that “Taken” writer Robert Kamen will take another stab at putting Brian Mills into another kick-butt situation. I doubt it will involve the kidnapping of his daughter again. Maybe the kidnapping of the President? President’s daughter? Nah, I’m guessing they won’t go for the kidnapping angle. You can bet Kamen will have Mills searching for someone and you know he’ll do it with the same smooth skill and brutality as he did in “Taken.”

Kamen also said he’s working on an American version of the French dystopian martial arts/parkour film “District B13.” Fine, but I’ll be holding my breath for “Taken 2: Take Harder.” Very much looking forward to it.

**UPDATE** This project could be delayed due to Neeson’s personal tragedy that unexpectedly happened today. Hopefully the reports are exaggerated and that his wife Natasha Richardson will recover.
