OBSERVE AND REPORT red band trailer… looks like profane hilarity to me! by Coop **UPDATED!!!**

This is NOT your little sister’s “Paul Blart” movie!

Jody Hill, the genius behind “The Foot Fist Way,” directs another dark story about a goofball who takes his job waaaaay too seriously.

Seth Rogen stars as Ronnie Barnhardt, head of mall security who vows to track down a flashing pervert to impress makeup counter girl, Brandi (the sublime Anna Faris). Standing in his way is a suave cop played by Ray Liotta who also appears to be putting the moves on Brandi. Armed with an overzealous team of dysfunctional security guards, this mall cop with a death wish will take down the pervert with extreme prejudice and win the girl’s heart.

I expect Jody Hill’s been brushing up on his writing skills. “Foot Fist” was funny but very rough around the edges. Many people didn’t appreciate his brand of humor. Although this one is more of a hard-R, I think Rogen and Faris will attract viewers who appreciate a raunchy wackiness.

It actually looks far darker and obscene than it sounds. Give the trailer a gander (WARNING: Explicit Content)

**UPDATE** Looks like the studio powers-that-be put the kybosh on YouTube for displaying the trailer.

You can still check out the “Observe and Report” Red Band trailer here after passing an ethically responsible age gate.
