This news is weeks old, but dang if this doesn’t look interesting. Like “Ink” and “9″ and the other recent gothic fantasy tidbits we’ve been getting, this one fits right in.
Who is “Franklyn” and what’s his mythology? Dunno, but I can’t wait to find out. Word is this film will screen soon overseas but no confirmation on a U.S. release.
Perhaps viral word of mouth will get this one to our American eyes sooner than expected. Hasn’t been the first time such a thing has happened.

Yeah, I remember seeing the trailer a few weeks ago, and thinking that this has a great amount of potential. I think if it can deliver on its strengths it will win audiences, but if it succumbs to just the tired formula of mixing a man’s fantasy life with his reality and just running down the cliches… no way. We’ve had enough of the recycled stories. I want story AND style dammit. Definitely one to look out for.
