Apparently, I’ve been struggling with a shadowy part of myself I was unaware of. In between my regular review postings, others have pointed out to me that I’ve done a lot of B-movie, horror, grindhouse, direct-to-DVD trashy reviews. I was alarmed to look back at the archives and realise… I HAD.

My “Dark Side” has emerged.

Yep, I’ve always liked the scary, lowdown, lowbudget, down-and-dirty cinema that’s out there. I guess I was too proud to admit it. The dark side has slowly creeped into this site and I’m afraid there’s no stopping him. He will constantly fight against this mainstream-film website and will attempt to hijack it periodically from this point on.

It would appear the “Dark Side” is far from taking over this site, but the struggle will be epic. Many reviews of vile films I’ve posted here are his doing and there’s little I can do to stop it.

I will pledge to review one mainstream/theater movie per week and try to counterpoint the Dark Side when I find myself in disagreement. Hell, I might even counterstrike his site from time to time… It’s the best I can do to keep him in line.
